Learning to Speak Alzheimer's: A Groundbreaking approach for everyone dealing with the disease
When I read this book, I immediately recommended it and passed it onto my mother. She in turn bought several copies and gave them to other people she knew who were caring for dementia sufferers, as well as to the home my father went to for respite. It helps the reader come to terms with the disease, as well as understand the behaviours of a dementia sufferer. Written by the wife of an early onset dementia sufferer who is also a trained nurse. A truly brilliant book.

The poems speak of the love, the struggles and the heartaches that a caregiver has to go through, taking care of a loved one. 'I was not a writer but felt inspired to write my feelings as it helped me get through the days and the years ahead. I was able to lose myself and get lost for a time in my writings. I pray that you can gain some understanding, and comfort as you read these poems.'..."
